Making His Presence Felt

Entering The League With Expectations

Many greats has played the game of basketball but none had been looked at like Lebron coming out of high school, he was looked at as a once in a lifetime type of player, a savior of the league and a generational talent that played like a well seasoned vet, as a high school athlete. With great talents come great expectations and not so many live up to that, in fact under 50% actually prove those claims and in a sport where it's the best against the best those numbers shrink entirely. This goes to say that Lebron had his work cut out for him, entering a league dominated by some of the all time greats fueled him to become who he would be over the next 20 years.Lebron averaged over 20 points per game, won Rookie of the Year, and instantly became the face of the league at a young age. His maturity: elite passing, strong scoring, and assertiveness of the game was rare for someone his age. By his second and third seasons, he was already an All‑Star and one of the league’s top players, he carried the Cavaliers to its first playoff appearance in years. His early career established him not just as a star, but as a generational cornerstone who could elevate an entire organization. Not only did he live up to the expectations as an early phenomenon but he still is to this day.
